I think it is a bad idea for teens to get drunk. Lots of teens do it on weekends, and it's quite dangerous really. It's very easy for drunken teens to come to serious harm. There's a reason that drinking is limited to older folks, and I think it's because when you're young, your body isn't really ready to handle things like alcohol. Teens will drink just like adults do because they think that since adults are okay that they will be too. They need to realize that they aren't quite adults yet, so they need to be more cautious with things like alcohol. Of course, there's also the risk of getting hurt walking around while drunk just like there is for anyone who is drunk. Teens tend to be less responsible than adults as well. They take more risks, like walking around and even driving while under the influence of alcohol. A common phrase to hear is, "It won't happen to me!" It only happens to people in far away places or on television. The truth is that it does happen to someone. As long as you take those risks, it can easily be you. You never know what could happen. You could walk outside and fall down, hurting yourself. You might not be able to get up for hours, and it could be cold. You could vomit and choke on it. You could end up having to go to the hospital, getting your stomach pumped, and peeing on a pretty nurse. You could even get jumped by four people, try to hit a truck, slug a woman that jumps out of the truck, and get beat up by her husband. Then, you could bite your grandfather's finger, threaten to kill an ambulance worker, and end up in the mental hospital for several days.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that just it's a bad idea to get drunk. It's an even worse idea for teens. When you don't know what you're doing, you could easily die and never know the difference.
